We had our Data Care find an error in our data last night, which is a bit of a puzzling error. The following was cut from our report:

Customer LAS350 transaction 1519B VISA computed home balance 0.00 does not match stored home balance 0.01 Checking Transactions... 1 errors found.

This error was reported as coming from our Receivables module. We are currently running AR 8.1A, but the original transaction was entered not into AR, but into our Bank Rec module. We are running BR 8.1B but that was just upgraded last night, so we would have been running the previous BR when this error occurred. The repair phase of the job reported this:

Customer LAS350 transaction 1519B VISA home balance 0.01 changed to 0.00

Is this anything to worry about? Is there something we can do to avoid this error?

Sounds suspiciously like a rounding error.

I wouldn't worry about it unless they occur all the time.
