Since updating my server, I'm missing a column, "comments" field from my vendor file, that used to show when I selected a vendor code for a manual check. This would allow me to choose the correct account when I have multiple accounts with the same vendor. The vendor code now shows the "address" which I don't need, but no longer the "comments" field. How do I customize what fields show with the vendor code?

Use the Column Editor to update the grid you want to customize and include the Comments, and remove the Address.

To do this, simply double-click on the grid header where you see the column titles. If you have security access to edit columns, then the Column Editor will appear. If you do not have security access, then nothing will happen and you will need to have the Adagio system administrator either give you security access or make the change for you.

Adagio grid customizations are saved with the program, so if you installed Adagio Payables to a new server, the grid changes would not be remembered from the older server installation and just have to be re-setup.

So I have to log on to AP as the admin user? (Nothing happens if I double click on the grid header).

The Admin user needs to either make this change for everyone, or update your user ID and anyone else's ID to allow access to the column editor. Which route is taken depends on your company policy for allowing access to this function.

I signed on as Admin and was able to edit which column titles show. Thanks!
