Is there any way to change the default magnification factor of the Adagio reports? The default 100% is a bit too small on the monitors at both my jobs, and I'm constantly changing it to 125% so I don't have to squint. (And unfortunately buying larger monitors is not an option.)

Thanks,
Jean

Hi Jean,

Sorry but there are no default settings for the magnification of previewed reports.

Does the Windows display screen resolution need to be at the setting it is, or can you decrease the resolution a step or two in order to make the screen objects and text larger?

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think there was a way to do it. I'll play with my screen resolution a bit, but what I really need to do is bug the boss (more) for a bigger monitor! smile

While you're bugging him - you might as well go for two monitors. Dual screens make a big difference to productivity (or let you monitor your Facebook page full time ;))

I have the same problem except that I have changed to a bigger wide screen monitor. It's a real pain to increase the zoom every time to preview.

I mean I had no problem with the smaller screen.

Fong,

When a computer tech sets up a new computer or monitor, she/he usually sets it to the greatest resolution possible. This results in unacceptably small print in many applications.

Reset the display properties to fewer pixels. 1024 x 768 is good for normal monitors. The second number will be larger on wide-screen monitors. Try various settings and various programs until you get one you like. (Do NOT change the DPI setting; it should be 96DPI (normal size).)

Hi Jean,

The recent service pack to Adagio Receivables implements this feature and you'll see it available in all future Adagio modules as they undergo ongoing maintenance.

The setting is under File | Options and is saved by workstation.

I hope this helps.
