I'm trying to complete yearend rollover and my batch status won't clear. It has cleared all batches except for one that had an error in it. It was a batch that was pulled from AP with "period based on date" for new year cheques prior to rollover which caused all period fields to default to 99. I changed all the periods to the proper ones and archived the batch. When I run my batch status, it says I have one batch in error and when I say print and clear, it still remains. I can't complete my rollover! Help!!

Hi, Vicki,

Please contact your dealer. They will be able to provide you with a special hotfix for this situation. It's GL9.0A(080704).

Because I'll be asking you to do a Rebuild, I'm going to ask you to do a backup of your data first.

After the hotfix is installed, you will need to do a DIC. There will be errors. Rebuild them.

After, you'll be able to complete your year end as planned.

Better still, install Ledger V9.0B, assuming your Upgrades Plans are current.

Actually, it is available on our website now and Customer Service has started the process for getting the upgrade notices out.

Users on upgrades plans will all be sent notices by the end of the week.
