What function were you running when you received the error? Were you entering a batch, printing an invoice, posting, printing a report, or something else? Is there any more to the error message?
I have heard of situations where Norton AV running in the background has caused some dificulties. Try disabling it on your workstation and perform the operation in Quik Invoice for Windows again. You may also want to reboot to make sure the system's memory is cleared and no files have been left open that shouldn't be.
You might also want to make sure that your data integrity is clean. Lastly, try the same operation with sample data, in the \softrak\qiwin\samdata directory. This will help point out whether or not the data is related to the error you are getting.
