we just started using the Sales CQ this morning to send leads out to sales persons & follow up on replys. When we do a scan for "user" & another field it ignores the user filter. It will pick up on other users not specified. When we "re scan" within the found data it still finds the previous range, not a refined search. We need to be able to scan by notes &/or callbacks dictated by user. How should we set this up?

I just played some more & I can scan for code, then scan it for user, BUT not both together. I would like to do two fields at the same time ....is this possible? I need to remove the 1st scan info to get the 2nd scan to work. This is wrong to my thinking. Is there something I am missing?

I just did a user scan (AA) & that was the only field with filters & I got data for AA & RD

Hi Bruce,

I'm not quite sure why you are getting the unpredictable result in the scan list - I'd have to have both the data and the query you are generating. You can also use the SmartFinder on the scan list to refine the results returned.

BTW - SalesCQ also links to Adagio Receivables, so if you decide to implement it you will have to wait until its compatibility release is available as well as the OrderEntry one.

Hi Bruce,

What options do you have selected for your scan? In some cases, the scan results are based on OR instead of AND, meaning you will see customers or prospects meeting one of multiple desired criteria instead of meeting all criteria. Knowing which options you wanted for the scan will help this.

I have the default options selected & then just one user selected. AA - AA my results give AA & RD in the search.

We are trying to scan by User AND Callback Code, and we've determined that it is returning all prospects that match User OR Callback Code.

Is there any way to change this to an AND search?
