Hi quikster,
Have you changed anything recently in your Accpac Plus, such as upgrading some programs or moving to a new server? Does your data pass an integrity check?
Quik Check for DOS is not certified for Y2K. Also, there is no guarantee that it will work under newer versions of the Windowing System Manager nor newer versions of Windows or networks such as Novell or NT. It's possible that an incompatibility with something newly updated on your system has caused this error.
If you have not changed anything such as software, has the printer changed at all? You can also try re-installing Quik Check to make sure that all required program files are there. Make sure that your data is clean, too.
If indeed you determine that incompatibility is the cause of this error, you should know that Quik Check for DOS was discontinued in 1997. Upgrades for compatibility are no longer available for this product. We have a 'Windows' version of this program called Adagio Checks which will work under the newer environments. It will be able to convert your existing Vendors and Distribution codes as well as your check specifications. Adagio is a Windows-based application (rather than DOS) thus you will be able to take advantage of Windows-type features such as printing checks with full font control.
