Hi All,

Is there a way to email the overdue receivables report from AR directly to a customer (similar to emailing invoices)? Right now we generate the report, export it to crystal reports, and then email it from Crystal.

Thanks!

Hello:

Are you sending the Overdue Receivables report because it shows the aging better than an AR statement?

If so, Receivables 9.0 allows you to show aging columns on the AR statement, which of course can be emailed easily.

Hi Bruce,

We haven't upgraded to AR 9.0 yet (still using 8.1A) just because I haven't checked all the compaitibility stuff out yet.

I cannot figure out how to email the AR statement - the 'email' button is not there like it is on invoices. I've set up the email, done a test which works fine.

Please help!

Thanks,

Cam

Hi Cam,

In Adagio Receivables (your version is OK), go to the File / Options screen and ensure that Allow Email is selected. If it is, then you should see Email (and also Fax if selected) on the menu. You should also see an Email button within the Print Statements function, just like for Invoices. And other email-related functions like Edit Email Cover Sheets.

If you have not selected to allow emailing from the File / Options screen, then all email-related functionality will be hidden, as one would expect.

Allowing Email is set for each application, to allow security and allowing emailing information from one program but not another.
