I am trying to reallocate charges in one account to a newly reated account. Doesn't seem to work, i must be doing something wrong.

I am reallocating 100% of the charges.

(2) In case i need to reallocate just a % of the amount into one account leaving the balance in the account it is in, what am i suppose to do, since 100 must be reallocated?

You should be able to use 100.00 as a reallocation percent, effectively moving the year's net changes to a different account. I was able to save this reallocation detail on one account, and run the Create Reallocation batch function to generate the batch that does the actual reallocation when posted.

If you only need to reallocate a precent less than 100, it is OK to put the remaining percentage to the original account being reallocated. Just remember to only run the function once.

Hi Odel

The best practice is to designate an account as either a reallocation account or as a regular account. One account should not be both. Otherwise you will find yourself in an infinite loop.

You need to create a third account and designate this as the reallocation account, with the other two accounts splitting the reallocation percentages.
