Is the issue printing checks, or is it printing reports in Ledger? These are in fact two separate print functions, and the causes/solutions would be different in each case.

If the issue is being unable to print checks (say in Adagio Payables), then the first place to look is the spec. Do you use MICR encoding on your check spec? There are some printer drivers that are unable to recognize the MICR font, whereas other printer drivers work perfectly well. I would suggest attempting to use a different printer driver in the Windows setup (even if it is the same but with/without PostScript).

You may also widh to edit the spec's page size to something other than 'Default' (say 8.5 x 11").

If the problem is with printing reports (in Ledger or other Adagio programs), then the likely cause has to do with an incomplete workstation setup. Adagio reporting uses the Crystal Reports print engine, thus files must get installed to the C:\windows directories (ie \windows\system or \windows\crystal). Also, because Adagio is a 32-bit application, information is also written to the Windows Registry. If there are different login rights (say for Windows NT or 2000 stations), it's possible that logged in as one user the reports will print, but not for another user. The solution is usually to re-do the workstation setup, logged in as the person who will be doing the printing from this station.

If you continue to have problems, please re-post which area you are trying to print from, and any error messages or results. This will better enable us to narrow down what's happening.
