Can I reprint a credit note dated July 7, 2008? I misfiled this credit note somewhere and my customer requested one more hard copy. I know the CN number and I can see it from the transactions listing in that customer file. Is there a way to reprint the hard copy? Thanks.

Adagio allows reprinting of Credit Notes, or faxing or emailing as a PDF attachment, as long as it hasn't been purged from the system. This includes Adagio OrderEntry and Invoices.

You cannnot edit the credit note date, if it currently is dated something other than July 7, 2008.

I think it probably has been purged from the system, cause I couldn't find that credit note in the range. Should I purge the invoices and credit notes? what's consequences if I don't purge them? Thanks.

Keep them if you anticipate having to reprint them, for a reasonable time frame. And only then, keep them in History instead of Current (if you are using OE) to help improve performance of dealing with live transactions. If you don't purge transactions from OE, processing and reports takes longer than it would with fewer transactions.

If you are keeping documents solely for sales reporting, you should investigate Adagio SalesAnalysis and store the documents there (instead of OE or Invoices) when you don't need to re-print anymore.

SInce you are running Adagio OrderEntry, the Credit Note is almost certainly available in the OrderEntry History file. Have you checked there? You can sort the documents in document or customer / document sequence. The Find button on the History will allow you to look up by document number.
