Hi All,

Not sure if this forum is for Crystal Reports as well... but here's my question!

In IC there is a field for the image file path so that you can tie an image to a part.

I'm trying to generate a pricelist report that pulls this picture into the report. I figured how to put a picture in a report, and found the file path field in the database, but cannot figure out how to add a picture based on a field.

Any ideas (or who I should ask if this isn't the correct forum)?

Thanks!

I haven't determined how this can be done either. You can format the image path field as a hyperlink, allowing you to click on the field and load the picture. But I don't know that the object at the end of the path (in this case, a picture) can be automatically loaded based on the path and file name, using Crystal Reports 8.5A.

Perhaps others who use Crystal regularly can confirm this or offer a better suggestion.

Hi All,

I've found out that it is indeed not possible to do this with Crystal 8.5

It is possible however with Crystal Reports 2008.

Will this work with Adagio? What do I need to do (besides buy it!) to get 2008 up and running?

Thanks!

Hello Acrylon,

If you want to use Crystal Reports 2008, you'll need Adagio ODBC to provide the connectivity. These reports cannot be added to the Adagio "Reports" menu, and Crystal 2008 cannot be used to modify any of the standard Adagio reports (only Crystal Reports for Adagio offers these two features).

Hi All,

Would there be any conflicts if some people had both installed on their computer - ie, can we run Crystal 2008 and Crystal for Adagio simultaneously?

Thanks,

I believe that it is possible to run both at the same time.
