Hi,

The above message with a credit posting of $65,652.30 is showing in one of the accounts detail listing in Adagio Ledger. It affected a few accounts and trial balance.

How can I do with this? Please help!

Thanks,

Mavis

Hi Mavis

It sounds like you have corrupted GL data. Make a backup and run Data Integrity Check. You can try Rebuilding if any errors appear, but this message indicates to me that rebuilding won't work and that the data may have to restored from a backup.

Let us know.

Hi Mavis,

The reason that this text prints on the Detail Listing report in Adagio Ledger is that the sum of the transaction details for a particular period (5) does not equal the stored Net Changes for the same period. One reason could be data corruption, as Steve indicated. Another reason would be that you imported net changes and overwrote the existing value.

Follow Steve's suggested steps.

Hi Mavis

Restoring from backup is not a feature built into Adagio. If you are not comfortable restoring, you will have to consult with someone who is, and you will have to know how you back up your data and where the backup is located.

Once you find your backup, I would suggest restoring it to your C: drive temporarily, and to launch it and test it (including running DIC) before using it to replace your live, corrupted, data. When you do replace the data, you will want to move the GL*.xxx files out of the existing data folder (where xxx is the data extension, likely DAT) before replacing the restored files there.
