Hi,
I'm installing Adgaio on a Plus site today. We have Accpac plus on the old server, mapped to drive F.

Adagio is going on a newer server, mapped to drive S.

We are rolling out Adagio over the next few weeks, so today we are only installing and doing WS Setups.

I can access Ledger, AP, and AR sample data. However when I try to open JC, I get this error:

"The report tables drive for this workstation is currently set to [S:], however that drive does not contain current report tables for Adagio Job Cost.

Please Check your workstation mappings and if necessary, reinstall Adagio Job Cost."

Ok. I reinstalled and get the same message.

So, WHY are the other modules working but JC is now? I have run into this before but cannot recall what the solution is.

thanks in advance --

I'm not sure as to the cause of your problem, but I've run into this type of issue before.

What almost always works for me is copying in the table files from our office network. In your case that would be the QRTAJ*.QRW files from your \QRASP folder.

Take copies of any files that would be overwritten, just in case.

On the rare cases when that hasn't worked, I've sendt the client's qrtables.ini file to Softrak tech support who can check for any configuration problems.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I tried that, FWIW there were already three QRWTAJ* files in the QRASP folder. However, I backed the folder up and copied these from my office and I still get the error.

I hate these kind of things, they make no sense and are an enormous pain in the butt!!!

Hi Carol,

What does running CHKSYS.exe on that workstation report?

What tables (and file dates) are there in the S:\softrak\system\qrasp\aj directory and do they match what you have in the S:\qrasp directory. If they don't match, you would get the error indicated.

I believe all three QRTAJ* report tables should have file dates of May 1, 2007 if the current Adagio JobCost is being installed. If you see tables with incorrect dates (especially newer dates), then something incorrect in the installation has occurred.

Lastly, check the S:\softrak\ajwin\ajwin.ini file. In the [Master Install Status] section, you will find a number of lines that look like QRWFiles1=QRTAJW68. You should find 5 such lines, one for each table that exists in the aforementioned system\qrasp\aj directory. If information is missing here, then the ajwin.ini was not correctly written to during installation.

All three of these locations must be in synch in order to not get the table error messages. It's a way of pre-identifying potential problems before the client runs into report printing errors.

you are a hero! That was it - the files in softrak\system\qrasp\aj were dated 9/something/2008, so I replaced them with the 5/1/2008 and all is well.

Please tell Leigh that is what it was because I've been emailing her as well.

thx,
carol

Sorry was not finishedI am having a similar issue but with Inventory version 8.1. I have sync all my entries which are:
qrticw65 2/15/06
qrticw80 1/19/06
qrticw81 6/21/07
qrticz65 10/7/2003
qrticz80 8/21/08
qrticz81 8/21/08
qrtmcw80 8/12/2003
When I view the unpack file on the C drive there are only five entries. I am missing w80 and z65. I tried removing these and syncing again without any success.
