Hi All,

We are merginging two companies who both use Adagio. What we want to do is bring one of the companies orders into the other's OE. I know I can export then import the customers, ship-to, and item info, but can I do the same with orders?

It would be a lot of work to rekey all open orders for one of these companies!

Any ideas?

At the risk of sounding self-serving, do you have an Adagio consultant? What you want to do is not straightforward, but it is possible.

If you were my client, I would use ACCPAC Plus and Zippy Import to perform the transfer, but even then it wouldn't be easy. For example, what if the order numbers overlapped? I'm not expecting that you would have a copy of either ACCPAC Plus or Zippy Import lying around, but an Adagio consultant might have access to them.

It sounds like entering the 200 orders might be the way to go.

We do have a consultant, so I'll look at that option.

There is a utility that can export your orders called Bravo Instant Export. There are a number of considerations when doing this so Steve is correct in that you should have your Adagio consultant assist you with this project.
