You can try the Check Reconciliation report. Select the checkbox to only print Outstanding checks. On the printed report at the bottom is a summary of the checks of each type, quantity and amount.

If you print the check reconciliation report and do not the the total dollar amount of checks, then this may have been a feature added to the report later than the version you have. It might also be in Adagio Checks, but not in Quik Check Plus for Windows. This report is probably the only report to give you this information.
