I am not sure why you are getting these results! I would delete this range and create it from scratch again, following the steps I have given previously.
Before doing this, please ensure that you have done the following things:
1. You have opened FR by going to Ledger's 'Maintenance' toolbar menu and selected the 'Maintain Financial Reports' option. (If you are going to create Account Groups and ranges and drag them onto the FS, then this is the way to access FR - NOT by the Reports menu OR the FR button on the Toolbar!)
2. When in FR, you have opened the 'Account Groups' view window and are modifying and dragging the accounts from here - you will NOT be able to drag accounts individually from the 'Chart of Accounts' view.
3. Make sure that your Account Groups in
the Ledger module are already setup and that in FR, the Account Groups match those.
I would strongly advise you to go to Chapter 2 in the Adagio Financial Reporter manual and refer to the instructions there on how to go about configuring your account groups so they match your Ledger Account Groups.
Perhaps along with the manual, you should open the sample dataset that comes with Adagio, so you can see how the Adagio account groups are setup and how they should respond to your mouse clicks and drags. The sample data is located in the Softrak\ALWIN\Samdata directory on the drive where Adagio was installed. Just point Adagio to this dataset when you open Ledger.
You may also want to consider getting a referral to a Dealer in your area that can train you in the finer points of Adagio. They would be able to come to your office and do this, and would be able to show you in person what we cannot do from this forum.

Your other alternative is to sign up for a Combined Support Plan, which would include upgrades, ptfs and unlimited technical support for one year from date of purchase. In this way, when you experience difficulties with the way the program is running, you can phone or email us directly.
