Hi Bruce

Check out their website and you will see there is no such thing as PrintBoss for Adagio - http://www.wellspringsoftware.com/Support/Files/PrintBoss%20Product%20Comparison%20Chart.pdf

Maybe you are referring to PrintBoss Express versus PrintBoss Standard. I think PrintBoss Express is for Quickbooks and Peachtree, and I KNOW that PrintBoss Standard is for Adagio and other mid to high-end accounting software packages.

If someone has other information, especially about Express, I'll be happy to stand corrected.

Steve

There is also an Enterprise edition that has more features than the standard edition. In particular the enterprise edition will process graphic images sent from the accounting program and has more capability for dealing with conditional processes.

As Doug said, PB Enterprise's main distinction is the ability to capture graphics in addition to the text.

May not sound like a big deal, but it is. Without this feature you need to redesign in PB all the grid lines, boxes, shading, etc. on each of your Adagio forms. Can be quite time consuming if you've got more than one form. I'd bet it's cheaper for the client to just get Enterprise than to get Standard and have all the specs redesigned.

If you're looking at PB for any type of OE or QI form distribution, I'd say that the Enterprise version is a must.
