Softrak,

I tried using the zip method with the correct files, however now when I try to open Ledger it is saying my report tables drive is set to G: and that the drive does not contain current report tables.

Any ideas??

Did you delete G:\QRASP ? That's the report tables drive (and directory). All workstations should have a mapping for drive "G:" that is the same.

Andrew,

No I didn't delete it, all I did was copy over the old QRAL9* files. Nothing was deleted though.

Hi, Darcy,

Is there a \QRASP folder on the workstation you are running Ledger from? This would cause a problem.

When you did your zip file with the QRT files, what options did you use? Did you have any of the options set in the Folders section, such as 'Save extra folder info'?

Softrak,

Indeed there is a \QRASP file on this workstation. In regards to the folders i didn't have any of the options set up like that.

What should happen in regards to the install, from an alternate workstation without that file??

Thanks,

Softrak,

The hang up is that on each workstation it is saying the Report tables are set to G:, but it doesn't contain current report tables for Ledger so it won't install from any workstation.

Hi, Darcy,

The report tables should be located on the server. If there is also a report table folder (i.e. \QRASP) on the local workstation, that will cause you a problem. Remove it. The QRTAL9* files that were being updated should also be located in the \QRASP folder on the server.

Am I correct that the mapped server drive to the report tables should be g:\QRASP? Or is it another mapped drive?

For the workstation that has a \QRASP folder on it locally, there is also probably a registry entry for the Windows user that uses the workstation (and runs Adagio from it) that indicates that the report table is on, say, C and this needs to be changed to G (or the mapped drive on the server that contains the report files).

Do other modules run okay still?

Darcy can you please call me (support) from wherever you are? I think it might be more helpful.

Softrak,

Thanks again for your help. Ledger is reinstalled, however even though the QRTAL9* files were renamed before the reinstallation the Detail listing will still not print as the files again installed with the old dates.

Hi, Darcy,

Have left a message for you at work to call this morning.

I am also interested in knowing the exact filename of the GL9 install file being used.

From the partner area on our website, I just downloaded the FullProduct of Ledger 9.0 (filename = AL8P20080402.EXE). When I right click on the install file and select its Properties followed by the Version tab, it says version 2.0.0.0.

Then, I renamed my QRTAL9* files and ran the install. The install correctly created both QRTAL9* files in my \QRASP folder with the correct dates of 3/19/2008 and 3/06/2008.
