I'll try and exlain this as best I can:

While reviewing a Grid report, I noticed that an item on sales order is telling me to order some raw materials. When I review the Order Entry Module's Order Action report, I cannot see where the demand is coming from (which order). So I create another grid to drill down into the item and sales orders and find out that the demand is coming from an order that can only be viewed in History.

I see the item has not shipped yet the demand exists in the Sales Order Quantity field but when the order action report is run, the demand does not exist.

My question is, how do I remove the demand from the order that apprently has not been completed?

Comments, suggestions, how tos would be appreciated.

You should be able to see which order(s) using the Order Action report. If you can't, then either you are not designing the Order Action report correctly, or GridView is giving you incorrect results.

I would strongly suggest running the GridView report only after performing OE dayend processing. At any other time, there is the possibility that the quantities will not be accurate.

If GridView and the Order Action report are giving you different results, I would trust the Order Action report, and wonder what you did wrong when designing the GridView report.
