Hi Rhoda,

Because you are able to print reports successfully, the error should not have to do with your printer driver. More likely, something is incorrect with your specification. You mentioned that the first invoice did print OK, but the next one did not.

Is there a difference between these two invoices that you are printing? I'm thinking along the lines of the number of items and/or amount of text on the invoice. Does the problem invoice have more information; enough to warrant a second page?

If you print (preview) the invoice using a different specification, do you get the same errors? If not, that would point toward something in your specification that is causing the error. Try one of the sample specs that are included (perhaps the sample tutorial spec).

What version of Quik Invoice for Windows do you have, 6.2A/B or 6.5A? Which release date? In 6.5A, we introduced the ability of printing multiple copies of an invoice, which is entered from the File | Specifications Options function when editing the spec. Do you have this field, and it is one or more than one? If you set it to one, can you succesfully print an invoice?

More on above, if you are running Quik Invoice for Windows 6.2x, and are trying to print invoices using a spec that was created with version 6.5A, you would get an error similar to this. This is because the number of copies feature would be saved in the spec, but the older program cannot read this feature.

Lastly, make sure that all of the sections in your specification are all appropriate sizes, and that nothing appears after the 'End of page' marker.

The GPF error is a result of the first, and when one issue is resolved, both will be.
