My client moves from Win98 to WinXP computer. CRA is installed in WinXP but the online Help button cannot be activated. A message displays to run setup again. The help works well in Win98. Any clue to this solution. Many thanks

Hi, HSM,

This is a known problem when clients are using Crystal Reports 8.5 on any workstation with Microsoft IE 6.0 installed. There used to be a solution posted at http://support.crystaldecisions.com/c2010291/. You might want to try that.

We check Win98 registry and there is a help key under Crystal Report. We create a similar key in WinXP.
For those who are not awared of this problem you will also have to copy the CRW html help file to this directory in WinXP
C:\program files\seagate software\crystal reports\help\en. Otherwise you will be unable to activate help again.
The file resides in Win98.
