Dear All,

Is the any way to change (and then print) number of labels (OE, Totals tab) after order is invoiced?
Also, which field(s) could be used for entering (and then printing) the courier trucking number for invoiced orders?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Victor

Hi Victor,

If you are using the current version of Adagio OrderEntry 81B, then Yes you can. If any version of OE older than 81B, then No.

Go into the Company Profile and on the 'System Defaults' tab, enable the option 'Allow editing of invoices/credits'. A screen to the right will appear, listing all the invoice/credit fields you will be allowed to edit. One option is the 'Label Count' field.

If security is a concern, these 'allow editing of invoices/credits' options are also definable in the Group Security (File / Edit Groups), so that certain staff can edit particular fields and others may not be able to edit at all.

Hi Team,

I'm currently using 8.0
Would it be OK to upgrage only OE to 8.1B? We are using GL,OE,IC,AR,AP,SR,CQ (all 8.0).

Using opportunity let me ask one more question. Will data created by AP 8.1A can be moved to different data set and used by AP 8.0 without integrity issues?

Thank you
Victor

Hi Victor,

I think the answer to both questions is "Yes" (certainly for Payables), but you're on Upgrades plans for all your modules, so you shoud have the most recent versions.

Is there a reason you haven't tried Adagio Ledger V9.0? It's pretty nice. OrderEntry 8.1B has some nice new features too - they'll be covered in the upcoming Wednesday webinar.

Hi Andrew,

Thank you.

Converted OE to 8.1B and other modules to 8.1A for one location
(we have 2 Adagio instances installed on different locations).
As far as GL 9.0 is concerned, I did not instaled it because installation of Adagio on firs location has a big problem. The SSI files have wrong dates (upgrade to 8.1A dates) and after installation of CQ I could not start any Adagio module. According tech support I contacted they familiar with this issue and only complete reinstall of Adagio can fix this problem.

Thanks again.

Victor

Hello Victor,

This issue is related to installing Adagio on a server (rather than from a workstation). For reasons known only to Microsoft, the server installation sets the dates on the files to the current date (rather than the date they are supposed to have). This prevents the installation of subsequent modules from correctly installing their files (since the dates are almost always "older", and the rule is that newer files should not be overwritten).

We understand the inconvenience this causes, and are trying to find ways around the problem. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find either the cause of this incorrect behaviour, or a cure.
