Hi Mo,

The item description is not stored in the SRTRANS data file (where all the sales data is stored), but the SRDESC data file. Because of this, the Item Description cannot be printed on reports generated through the Online Inquiry.

However, if you create a report through the Housekeeping | Maintain Standard Reports, the item description field is available to be used. That would mean creating you own customized report in this function, separate from Online Inquiry. These reports can be printed in the Print Reports area.

When designing this report, you would simply define the 'columns' with the fields you want on the report (ie customer number, item number item description, qty sold, sales amount, etc). It's up to you which fields you want, the order they are put on the report, whether it's a detail or summary report, etc.
