Hi,

On 4/23, we processed two credit memos. When the individual credit memos printed, the correct amounts were displayed. However, the amounts reflected on the Credit Note Audit List were incorrect.

And then when we were entering orders into Order Entry, the pricing is incorrect. i.e. We have Item # : 12-TP-1L, and the base price should be $8.95 and the Recent cost should be $2.75 but what is now showing is the base price is $89,500.00 and the Recent cost is showing $27,500.00.

How do we fix the pricing and what caused the pricing to change? Thank you for your help.

Please provide the version of Order Entry you are using. See Help | About and note the Version number and date that is shown.

Thanks..I notice that you have GridView.

You should do a GridView report from Inventory Control using I/C Items (1) showing Item #, Description, Base Price and Most Recent Cost.

Check to see if there are other Items that have Base Price or Most Recent Cost errors.

We don't know how to use Gridview.

Also, i don't know if this is helpful. We already processed Data Integrity checks in both Inventory and Order Entry. They both came back with no errors.

Hi jodi,

Are you receiving your inventory items using Adagio Inventory, or Purchase Orders for Adagio?

There's not much to using GridView, and you'll find it very useful for "poking around" in your accounting data. You can find out how it works by attending the upcoming webinar on May 21.

Well, i just went into Gridview and ran the query you suggested. I have two items that are showing incorrect pricing.

I have a screen shot. Is there some way i can sent to you?

Hi,

Something else i should mention... when we went to enter the orders yesterday, the pricing "error" was affecting more than just these two items. And then when we tried again this morning, only these two items have been off.

Hi, i was just checking if there may be any solutions to this issue. We have stopped entering orders and any other processes that may involve inventory until we have a fix. Thanks for your help.

Look at the items in question in Inventory Control.

Do they have alternate units set up, specifically one that is 10,000 of the base unit? And is that unit set up as the purchase or selling unit?

It could be that the costing of off because of the incorrect use of the different stocking units.

Hi Jodi,

Have you managed to track down what might be the problem?

This forum is not really designed for urgent technical support, it's more for questions you'd like answers to, where timeliness is not too important (that's why the support is free).

Multi-currency and receiving issues might explain the symptoms you are experiencing. We haven't had any other similar problems reported, so someone might need to take a closer look if Ralph's suggestion doesn't help.
