I opened 2008 in Dec 2007.

Today I closed 2007.

I thought I would be asked if I wanted to use a "Month 13" during this function but i wasn't.

Will I be asked this when I do the prior year posting to record the adjustments from the external accountants?

Am I totally confused here?

It is not called "Month 13" but "Adjustment period," and yes, you will have the option to post to it when you select prior year posting for the adjustment batch(es).
