Hi,

In the past I was able to print a IS for a fund without inactive and no activity accounts. It would only print the accounts that had activity on them. Now it will print 4 pages that include all accounts even if they don't have any activity on them.

How can I change this to print a IS that shows only detail of the accounts with activity on them.

Thank you very much. Ana

Click on the zero suppress icon -- the red one that looks like the outline of a stop sign with a slash through it. This will suppress (at least from printing) all rows that have only zeros.

Hello Ana,

I assume that an "IS" is an Income Statement being printed from the financial reporter. Click on the "Zero Suppress" button (next to the fiscal period) and refresh the statement by pressing F9. If you are printing the statement from a statement group, then make sure that the Zero Supress option is ticked.

Hi Ana,

Are you using Adagio Ledger 9.0A? There was a problem identified in a previous version - that has been fixed in the Jan 2008 service pack - where if columns for future period existed on a financial statement, the zero suppress feature stopped working. For example, a statement that has 12 columns (one for each month), and unless the selected period is 12, zero suppression fails.

If you download and install the Jan 2008 service pack, this problem will be fixed.
