I was in the process of closing the accounts payable module. Before running year end, the message I receive is Print and Clear Period End Clearing Journal. When I select Print Clearing Posting Journal, I receive the message "no clearing posting journal found to print. I am not able to proceed with year-end until this task is complete

Make sure you've already printed your other posting journals.

You'll want to make sure no one else is using Adagio at the moment. Then, using Windows Explorer, drill down to your Adagio data folder. If you haven't already, set View to Details.

Look for any files that begin with APPOST and anything else after. Do not delete any files.

If there is an APPOST*.xxx (where '*' is any character and 'xxx' reflects the 3-character data extension your organization uses) that has a size greater than 0kb, rename the file (perhaps to something like oldAPPOST or change the extension to old).

Now go back into AP and try to close the year again.
