Invoices - 8.0A

On one and only one of my workstations the Email Queue flashes on the screen but does NOT display. This started about a week ago. How do I get this repaired?

Should I re-run the Workstation install for Invoices?

Hi, Kay,

Is this a new workstation? Do you have the same thing happen if they are running Receivables from that workstation?

You said this happens when they access the Email Queue. Just to be certain, are you referring to the queue itself or the queue listing?

Has anything changed on that workstation recently?

I'm wondering why you're still running old versions of Adagio. The 8.1A versions of the programs you use were released six months ago.

This is not a new workstation - it has been operational for over 2 years. It is a Compaq Xeon-HT w/2Gb of RAM. Let me correct the version number - it is AI 8.0 not 8.1.

This is with the AI Queue only. The AI Queue listing works correctly. The AR Queue and Queue Listing both work. As I said earlier, the screen blinks in preparation to display the queue. By the way, this queue is correctly displayed on other workstations - it is only this one that is having a problem.

Nothing has changed on that workstation. I finally today figured out that I should try an AI Workstation re-install - no change.

The reason I am so far behind is that I was out for surgery for 2 months and now I am trying to play catch-up, probably around the end of March I should be able get caught up with current releases.

I have done more research and found the following:
[*]I removed the AI program on the workstation through the Control Panel
[*]I re-installed the workstation AI program
[*]This did not fix the problem. My hope was that a DLL got trashed.
[*]Let me describe the problem with more current information - If I click Email Queue, I get a slider bar across the bottom of the screen and the selection for Email Queue stays grayed out.
[*]If I bring up Check Data Integrity, don't run it, and close it down, the Email Queue selection goes from Grey to Black.

Could it be that something in the registry is damaged? Based on prior information about the email implementation from Softrak, the registry is used relative to email. I am not sure how to proceed.

The problem is resolved.

The window somehow got shifted off the screen and was hidden from view.

I went into OPTIONS and unchecked Save Window Position and Window Size. Clicked on email queue and problem resolved.

Not sure why this happened but this issue is closed. Thanks.
