Dear Guy

If you are using the DOS version of QR, then although this release is very old (and NOT Y2K compliant), it should work fine with your version of IC. If QRWIN, then this is the current version.

There could be several other reasons why your report is not printing the way you expect it to. I can only give you general suggestions, as you have not given me enough information to go further with. I am assuming you know your way around QR, so won't elaborate.

First, check the links on your report. If you are trying to report on many items within one record (for example, there could be many items shipped to one Customer on one document), then you should use the OneToMany linking method, otherwise OneToOne would be your choice.

Secondly, the driving file should (normally) be from the application you created your report with. For example, if you created your report with IC, but for some reason have OE fields on your report, the driving file should be an IC field.

I cannot comment effectively on why your pricing is not what you expect it to be in QR, yet it appears to be correct in IC apart from saying that some fields in IC are calculated fields, so you must create formulas to reflect the correct prices and insert them into the detail section of your report instead of the actual fields.

If we are to go further with this, you would have to let us know:

- exactly what fields are on your report and from what areas in IC you are reporting from.
- Are there any formulas in your report - what are they?
- Are there fields from another application on the report (e.g. OE)?
- What is the current linking information?
- Do you have subtotals? - On what fields & on change of what?
- Is the detail section hidden?

Even with this information, it may be hard to determine why your report is not giving you the desired results. Either contacting your ACCPAC Dealer or signing up on a Tech Support Plan may be a better option for getting down to the problem resolution.

Alternatively, you could purchase an "combined" upgrade & support plan, giving you not only the current release of QR DOS, but upgrades and tech support for one year.

Hope this helps,
Regards
