Is there an audit log available from Order Entry or Inventory to keep track of the creation, modification or deletion of transactions? E.g. Several persons have the ability to create an invoice, however I would like to be able to see who created a particular invoice based on the user log in name.

Currently we only track who printed the invoice, picking slip and order confirmations.

Expect improved document logging in V9.0A sometime next year.

You could modify your invoice specification to add the 'Printed by' field to your copy of the invoice.

The field is also availalable to display on the order/invoice/credit note grid or in a GridView View.

I can no find that field - "printed by" I have found printed date and printed time. Do I need to do it as an optional field?

You're right, it's not availabe to print on the form. We'll try and get it in the next service pack. However, the fields are available to display in GridView or in the OrderEntry grid. You can also select o these fields using SmartFinder to create a list of invoices printed by an individual.

A client has also asked for tracking of users making changes to Customer information - changing credit limit, taking off hold.

I do not have grid view. What do you mean by Order Entry grid? I have searched high and low for a way to find this information and the solution keeps eluding me. How can I check to see who edited a receipt.

Hello CPS,

"The Grid" in Adagio is the form that you use to choose anything - customers, orders, invoices, inventory items, etc. You can choose what fields are displayed in every Adagio Grid, to make finding information that is important to you easier. To change the fields displayed in the grid, double click on the column titles displayed at the top of the form, and then choose the fields you want to see from the list in the column editor.
