When entering either receipts or payments in Adagio BankRec, you can use a Distribution Set to enter a standard set of GL distributions. So if a deposit requires a particular set of distributions, you can enter these into a Distribution Set and select this during batch entry. Is this the template you are referring to?

If you are concerned about accidentally deleting a distribution set code, perhaps you could use the security Groups to disable access to the function, so nobody can delete them.

Or if you do not plan on adding new distribution sets, you could backup the related data files. And if something inadvertant happened, you could restore only these files. Before restoring data files in this way, always make a complete backup of your data, in case you inadvertantly do something unintended. There are 4 data files that all start with BRDST: BRDSTD'1, BRDSTD'R, BRDSTH'1 and BRDSTH'R.
