I have experience. It works fine and fast. Just make sure they have 100BaseT cabling and switched hubs on the network.

20,000 is not that many for Adagio. I have a client with over 500,000 items in inventory, and there is no problem at all, other than physically keeping track of them.

This is exactly why people buy Adagio, for capacities that exceed the lower end package limits.
