The DCLIST.ld4 file is created at the time of the check data process. If you remove this file, DC will recreate it at this time. Normally, it sits at 0 bytes in size.

The fact that DataCare is now complaining about not being able to create it sounds like either the file attributes have changed (ie have become not shareable), or the workstation that is trying to run the check does not have rights to create/use files on this drive.
