Hello again, Lorraine
I'm glad that the advice helped you! That's always encouraging!
I'm afraid that I can't quite get a clear understanding of the new problem by your description. I understand the error message, however, let me ask a couple of questions:
1. Is this still the same QIP import batch you are speaking of, a new one from QIP or one from another application?
2. Is it possible that you may have inadvertently "replaced" a unit of measure field (this would be the 3rd to last field for the detail) with the new date field when editing the original ICSBATCH - ? You should check this, as this could be your problem. When editing a file like this, it is extremely important to ensure that no other data is changed, (even a space occurring where it did not exist before, or a missing comma) as the import structure is very sensitive to this, and it will not import the batch if there are fields missing or invalid characters in fields due to a mistake made in editing the file, or data corruption.
3. Prior to posting the QIP batch, did you do a data integrity check, to make sure the data was ok? Have you done one on I/C?
I don't think it would be a good idea to delete the header and detail lines in icsbatch - when the icsbatch is created it adheres to a particular format and expects to see this format when you go to import the shipment batch.
In any case, I would also suggest making a copy of your original icsbatch file then rename it before trying to make any more changes on it - at least then you will have an original to go back to if you want to experiment a little.
Regards
