Yes, the Help failing to launch is a problem and has been reported to R&D. For now, if you drill down to the c:\Softrak\Ledger folder on your workstation and locate the LedgerFinRep.chm file, you can double click on it to run it.

With respect to your ExcelDirect problem, may I ask how you are logging into Ledger and the FR? Are you RDPing, connected to the server via a LAN or running standalone?
