I am trying to resolve the problem on my client's site where DocStore was recently installed.

Unfortunately, this error does occur occasionally and randomly but more often after a set of Windows updates have been done.

To resolve, go to the Control Panel, Administrative Services, Computer Management. Then, select Services and Applications, followed by Services (may differ slightly depending on your OS).

Scroll through the list of Services until you find the novaPDF Server. Highlight it and select to Restart the Service.

Sometimes, in order to effect the change, the equipment needs to be restarted but I’d try it without doing this first.
