Hi Steve,

Since most people can deposit a check into their bank account by taking a picture of it with their smart phone, perhaps your client should go back to their bank and ask how the smart phone knows whether the pictured check was printed with or without magnetic ink.

If the bank is having trouble reading the MICR line, then it's more likely because the font is not being rendered properly by their printer. We ship with several different weights of the MICR font. Perhaps they can try a couple of different ones and see which the bank has the easiest time processing.
