Hi, Michelle
Normally, this message will come up when you even try to open QCWIN, however the indication is the same - you likely have a corrupt file(s) in your database. Another symptom is that you will not be able to access the Data Integrity Check option on the file menu, if you CAN get in to QCWIN at all.
The only real options you have at this point are:
(Make sure you have a good backup, made PRIOR to having this problem that you can restore from, if necessary.)
1. You can rename the qcbctl*.* files, and re-start QCWIN. QCWIN will then recreate new batch files, but you will have to rekey the batches you have lost.
2. If it is only a Vendor file that seems to be the problem, then you can try deleting that Vendor, and rekeying in their information from previous print-outs (ie YTD statistics etc.)
2. Can restore from good backup
3. Can call our DBR (Database Repair Department) to obtain a quote to fix database.
Hope all goes well...
Regards
