The help file says in one place that the "total amount billed on the retainage invoice must be equal to or less than the retainage amount from the original invoice". In another place it refers to "the exact amount of the Retainage due".

In fact, when a Retainage Invoice is created for less than the full retainage of an invoice, Job Cost shows the full amount of the retainage as being billed.

Receivables has the correct amount but Job Cost does not.

Nothing is retrievable from AR to JC and the Job Inquiry (Billings & Costs tab) shows the full amount as still Retainage Receivable.

The Report of Retainage Receivable shows the original job total but the amount related to this invoice is now blank.

The Job Status report shows original full amount as Retainage Receivable and shows retainage billing for full amount of the retainage on the invoice, not the reduced amount actually billed.
