QL usually gives ?AIMBIND" or AIM errors (& this may or may not be accompanied by a Windows? GPF (General Protection Fault)message as well) due to defective or older data dictionary being used.

It could also be because QL is not compatible with that application?s data dictionary (eg ? brand new version of application, and QL has not been upgraded for compatibility).

SOLUTION:
1. Exit QL/Excel-
2. Rename culprit datadicts, & reinstall application or, copy good datadicts from app disk into ASP\DATADICT to replace defective ones
3. Go back into QL
4. Re-initialize data
