In Order Entry, under the "Order Entry", "Print Picking SlipsP option, there are options for selecting the orders by order number and location. A client has seen this , and wants to be able to print more than one picking slip for an order. Their warehouse is divided into a Chill room, a large freezer and a Dry storage area. They see these as three "locations" and want to send three different picking tickets which will be tied back to a single invoice. Is this in any way possible? Is it possible to print picking slips by location, this does not seem to work.. is this the location in the header or the detail of the order? Thanks.

Hi pwc,
You can print up to 5 different copies of a specification (pick slip, order confirmation, invoice or credit note) by editing the specification file and setting the number of copies from the File / Specification Options screen. In addition, you can specify which copies that fields print to (ie a text label that prints 'chill room' only on copy 1, 'freezer' on copy 2, etc.). Edit the properties of a field and select which copy(s) of the form that the information will print on.

I tried your suggestion, and I can get different copies of the picking slip with the different text labels, but what is being requested is also to have information from different locations print on separate picking tickets. There is the option of selecting a range of locations when printing picking tickets, but it does not seem to work. If I select only location 1 to location 1, it will still print picking slips with items from location 2. They are trying to get separate picking slips, each with only the items from that location printed.
