I could put a "." in the first line but I am not the user, and it is not something the user will think of doing. That's what I call a non-intuitive workaround.

This client has designated lines 2 and 3 for specific purposes, and often doesn't enter anything in the first line. Really, that shouldn't cause the PO additional lines to not show.

I guess what I'm suggesting is that the additional lines be saved to the PO even if the first line is blank.
