Hi Shaunna,

Does this new security group exist in all three of your datasets? The security group that the user is assigned to is the same across companies.

For example user SH is assigned to user group FINANC

Company 1 - Security Group: FINANC
Company 2 - Security Group: FINANC
Company 3 - New Security Group: FIN

This means that you will be unable to access Company 3 since your security group does not match. If you switch to have user SH assigned to group FIN than you will be unable to access Company 1 and 2. While the privileges between Security Group FINANC and FIN might be the same their names are different. Since your user wants to access multiple companies, your security group needs to exist in each of these companies as well.

The other thing to check is to make sure that you added the group to each of your modules. Just because you added the group to GL doesn't mean the group has been added to AR, which could be another reason why you are being blocked out.

Finally, check is to make sure that your didn't hit a space after typing your security group, as "ADMIN" and "ADMIN " would be considered different groups, which could be limiting your access.
