Steve's directions are correct. In order to post a batch without requiring to print a batch listing to paper (or PDF), the option Steve indicated must be disabled. Posting is available from a button on the batch screen, or the Post button on the toolbar. It's possible that you have to re-load the data after making a change to the company profile, but typically that isn't necessary.

If you are referring to a manual check batch, and check forms are set to be printed and aren't, then this would also prevent posting. You have to either print the checks, or edit the entries to not print the checks.

'this didn't work' isn't enough information to be of assistance.
