Hi Kate,

Quik Reports DOS keeps a sequential file called QRVLINKS.LD4 in the \QRASP directory, which represents virtual links. When some programs are installed or reinstalled, they may write to the QRVLINKS file if that's part of the install script and a virtual link is required. Depending on the version of Quik Reports DOS, there is a maximum number of virtual links that may be stored in this file.

First, make sure that this file even exists in \QRASP. Next, you can edit this file with any text editor. It probably will be that the same program has written to this file many times - it is safe to remove all the duplicates (due to reinstallations). The problem does not lie with the number of reports they have - do not delete any more reports.

I do not believe that Adagio writes to the QRVLINKS file whatsoever, but other DOS applications would do so. The only guess I have is that QRVLINKS may be missing (reinstall Quik Reports DOS).
