A client prints carton labels in multiples of two, depending on the customer.
Is there any way to default the number of labels on the OrderEntry Total tab to 2 instead of 1? Or even better, to default based on the customer (or shipto)?
Also, when they go to print their labels using OrderEntry | Print Shipping Labels, there are a couple of problems:
1) the system always defaults to Invoices, and they want to print for a range of Orders - can it remember the latest setting? I tried ticking "Remember report settings" under User Preferences but it didn't make a difference
2) Once you enter a beginning order number, the "Number of labels" field is grayed out, and displays the number of labels for the beginning order. That doesn't change when you enter the ending order number, and if it happens that the beginning order has zero for the number of labels, then no labels at all will print.
