They really should provide the full error message and information to you. It is difficult to tell exactly what's going on because we and you don't really know what went on.

Is this a standalone installation (i.e. installed on a local workstation only) or are there other users? If there are other users, do they receive the error also or just this user? What is the full message, can they provide you a screenshot?
