Hi Michael
I am a reseller/consultant, with many construction clients using Adagio JobCost. In fact, my father was a home builder (about 100 homes a year) and he was my first "client", so it's a specialty of mine. It works nicely.
What it doesn't do well is integrate with an estimating system, or print AIA bills (but you are in Canada so maybe that doesn't matter). What it does particularly well, in conjunction with Adagio PurchaseOrders, is warn you if you try to enter an invoice that causes the actual to exceed contract. It also handles integration to the GL very well, whether you want to recognize revenue as a percent of completion or once a job is fully complete. The standard reports aren't very good, but the data itself is well structured, so I use Adagio GridView to create reports that are exactly what my clients want.
