The APPOSTR is the Check Reconciliation Journal. The APPOSTME file is Manual Checks Posting errors journal.

These files have different data extensions; they are for 2 different datasets. If you have printed and cleared the posting journals from within the program, remove or rename the file that is for the dataset you are currently working with.
